2013 Skills Clinic p/b Transition Rack

Before the start of the 2013 Ann Arbor Spring Training Series, learn and practice skills that will help you be safer, faster, and better able to manage the unexpected scenarios that are a part of bike racing. This clinic is guaranteed to challenge new racers and those with experience, giving you better skills and awareness of where to improve your technical skills and how to do it.

Pre-registration is required and spaces will be limited. Registration is scheduled to open by Mar. 10, 2013.

When: Sunday, March 24, 2013. Check-in at 8:00 a.m., clinic 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Where: Runway Plaza—Concourse Dr. and Runway Blvd., Ann Arbor, MI.

Bring: Any style bike and a helmet (both are required).

Needed skills: Any age and ability is welcome as long as you can pedal, shift, and brake, plus are able to pay attention to others around during group drills. Advanced category riders will also be challenged by these drills—this is not a beginners-only clinic.

Upgrade points: Cat. 5 men and cat. 4 women can earn upgrade points toward cat. 4 by attending this clinic.

Cost: $20 (plus online service fee). AAVC members get $10 off (contact Lucas for the coupon code). Riders without a license need to purchase a one-day license for $5 when registering online, and that $5 will be refunded at the clinic when you check in.
